Two-day workshop on preparing UPR reports
BNN joined a two-day workshop at the University of Belize on preparing Shadow Universal Periodic Review (UPR) reports under the EU-UB Human Rights Project.
BNN participated in a two-day workshop on preparing Shadow Universal Periodic Review (UPR) reports, held at the University of Belize in June. Belize continues to advance the implementation of its 4th cycle UPR commitments, having already supported 127 of the 166 recommendations received.

During the workshop, representatives from civil society, academia and non-state actors strengthened their ability to support evidence-based reporting and align national development priorities with human rights commitments.

The event was hosted under the EU-University of Belize Human Rights Project and supported by the OHCHR in Belize.
