The Belize Network of NGOs seeks to be the unified voice of Non-Governmental Organizations in Belize advocating for good governance to achieve sustainable human development.

The diverse membership is at various stages of development and levels of needs, but all aspire to good governance for sustainable human development. As a network, BNN seeks to create good governance through avenues such as advocacy, position statements, and representation. BNN aims to do this via collaboration, cooperation, open and effective communication, mediation, meaningful and active participation in our system of governance, and by promoting political reform.

BNN seeks to promote good governance in Belize through advocacy, open and effective communication, and meaningful and active participation in reforming our system of governance.

Our Vision

BNN is the unified voice of Non-Governmental Organizations in Belize advocating good governance for sustainable human development.

The BNN is led by a Steering Committee which is elected from among the NGO members in good standing. These good-standing members also elect the person who represents them in the Senate.
